Waterproof boots are the most common way to keep your feet warm and dry. If you spend a great deal of time outdoors, you know how important dry feet are in keeping you comfortable and happy. Whether you work or play in weather conditions that most people would shy away from, your gear has to be able to hold up in all weather conditions.

Water-resistance can be accomplished through multiple applications of a rain proofing agent. These repellents can be successful, but must be re-applied on a regular basis to be effective. A more efficient option is to purchase a boots that keep cold and wet conditions from penetrating the outer shell and reaching your feet. The material that encompasses the surface of these boots could be straight leather or a special fabric with microscopic pores that are so small that water does not pass through. In either case, the better the product, the drier your feet will be.

If you choose to wear boots that are not rainproof, you can combat these soggy wet boots by using an appliance that can dry them out within a few hours. This is a nifty little piece of technology that is not complex in design, but surely does the job of drying boots in a much faster timeframe than letting them sit on the radiator.

The heated posts angle upward, allowing the boot to sit suspended over top the protruding pin. As hot air begins to blow upward into the post and eventually into the boot, they begin to dry from the inside out decreasing drying time significantly.

In summary, if you have waterproof boots you already know how valuable they are in tough winter conditions. If you choose to go out without waterproof gear, a DryGuy appliance may be the next best thing.
