I have had my DuroMax XP10000E running five days continuosly and only yesterday did I shut it down for an oil change. It has been powering my whole house

1st off I want to tell you that it is HEAVY! Need two MEN to get it off the truck. Had to attach my wheels and handles on it which took about 30 min if u dont have a clue on how to do it like myself. It came With a 20amp, 30amp, and a 50 amp twist lock plug. However, I am using the 50 amp receptacle off of the generator and the generator does not have a 50 Amp twist lock RECPTACLE ON IT! So its worthless because homedepot or lowes does not sell a 50 amp twist lock receptacle!
I know because i went to both and they said they on carry 30 amp twist lock receptacles! So I already wired it up myself “a home ran three 6 gauge wire, and a #10 ground through a 3/4 inch nm liquid tight flex. 15′ of it to be exact. Because i already had 6 gauge wire and was too cheap to pay for the 25′ 4 wire cord which is being sold for close to 200 bucks that you need to use this thing which has no cords to come with it.So i wasted my time placing that 50amp twist lock on my cord and had to rewire to to a regular 4 wired plug for the receptacle.
It does not tell you how long to or what you should look for into recharging the battery. it just give you plugs to place on it. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CHARGE UP GUYS? The instructions are horrible. The book says to open the fuel gauge by turning to the right, but the picture on the unit says turn it straight up. So i go by the book and turn it to the right, poured gas in it and it started up on the 1st pull! so i was like good! till it died in 5 mins. Then i turned it to the top position and it started. But the good news is that it works.
I had all my lights working, my dryer, my 10,000 btu ac unit, my computer, my surround sound system and my 65″ tv and cable boxes were all working! I WILL NEVER BE CAUGHT OUT IN THE HEAT OR COLD AND DARKNESS AGAIN! It ran my refridge as well. But I didnt run my dryer at the same time as the others not risking to overload my unit. Then I turned off everything and tried to run my house ac unit and NO HAPS! Good thing I have this 10,000 ac unit and portable heaters. But all in all, it works. Oh yeah. Kind of loud. Not too loud, but loud. Loud as a gasoline lawnmower that costantly keeps running, but its a motor, what do you expect? DuroMax XP10000E

I have owned this generator for about a month. The battery was not charged initially, so I had to use the pull cord to start the generator and charge the battery. The battery is a little weak, but has managed to have just enough oomph to start the generator. I have shut down utility power and run the entire household (minus air conditioner) on the generator. It generates relatively clean power for a portable and gets about the rated fuel usage. The only negative is the sound level. This thing is not quiet. Oh, one other slight negative…it doesn’t come with an engine hour meter, so I installed a Hobbs meter.
