Use What’s Lying around for your Bucket Garden

dsc00139Whether it is a tin garden bucket, plastic garbage can or old cardboard box, any container you come across can fulfill the basic requirements and act as a container for your garden.

When deciding to begin your bucket garden, it is more important to spend your funds where your going to get the best bang for your buck; seed, plants and potting soil etc. Your container garden can be made up from literally anything that constitutes a box, pot or container that you have lying around that can hold soil and your vegetable crops.

I recycled an old chiminea I had in another part of the yard. I put it back to work and expect big things from the strawberries I planted in there. You’ll notice from the picture, I added a pot int he stack for an added area for my plant. This is another aspect to the backyard to table project, recycling old containers…dsc00140
