Cheap Eats

With the cost of living rising (inflation, gas prices, insurance premiums, etc.), people are becoming more conscious than ever about saving money and keeping in line with their budget. One of the most variable (but controllable) aspects to your budget is the amount of income you spend each month on food. Of course the obvious thing you can do to trim your eating expense is to limit the amount of meals you eat outside of your home, but what about for those who already limit themselves to only going out once a week or even less? It seems like every time you go to the grocery store, your favorite foods are being squeezed into smaller packages, but their price is still sky high.

Enter, Cheap Eats. I decided to start this blog to share with you all the ways in which I eat relatively well on a 10-cent-pack-a-noodles budget–with the occasional splurge of course. Keep an eye out for new posts all the time; I cook dinner (almost) every night, and I’m constantly looking for new ways to save money without sacrificing my love of all things culinary. And I use that term loosely–(disclaimer!) I have no culinary training, but I sure do make a mean twenty minute dinner on a Wednesday night.

Cheers!
